My name is Eric Tatro. I’m fascinated with how the Internet brings people together and facilitates communication.
The blog
This blog has existed in one form or another since June of 2005. I started it to participate in the global discussion about public relations, establish a presence on the Web, gain social media experience, and connect with others interested in public relations practice. It currently boasts a whopping authority of 12 according to Technorati.
The work
In my career I have focused on healthcare communications in a variety of organizations, including those in the non-profit/advocacy/education, hospital, and agency settings. I’m currently a senior account executive at Edelman.
The person
Even though I don’t make it out to many shows these days, I still love music, and used to play in a couple of hardcore bands around Detroit. Lately I’ve been getting my kicks by trying interesting food, wine, beer and whisky, traveling to new places, and reading nearly everything I can get my hands on. I’m a graduate of Michigan State University. Despite living in Chicago, I’m still a die-hard Lions, Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings fan.
