Recently I got called out for not being transparent enough on this blog, namely because the blogger felt I was "nameless." I disagreed, because the site contains my name in the sub-domain and there *is* an about page there.
However, it got me thinking. Maybe he’s right. Maybe I’m not being transparent enough. Going through this blog, I realized that it’s not exactly easy to discover who I am. Nowhere on the site to I explicitly say, "My name is Eric Tatro." And while the "about" page is there, it’s buried amongst a bunch of other links. I should know better than that.
Look for some changes later in an effort to make more progress toward greater transparency here. I’ll post more when I have more time to devote to the topic.
Update: I’ve updated my "About" page to make it more clear who I am and why I blog, and now you can find the link (along with a way to e-mail me) at the top of the sidebar.
